As reported last week, Joe Cushing, Executive Vice President of Cushing Co. will receive the City of Hope's Spirit of Life Award on Wednesday, November 8. The award recognizes Joe's 20 plus years of supporting this independent research and treatment center for those with cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. Thanks so very much for posting this Julie. We had a tremendous night of 650 industry folks, including 10 past honorees from JLL, Gensler, Turner and a few local design / engineering firms. We are just over $619K targeting $650K !!! My brother Tom gave an incredible ( embellished ) intro along with two great industry friends. The fundraising is still not over, and the money we raise here, will go directly to the clinical trials of the Doctor who spoke last Wednesday, for AML (leukemia). Thanks-- very humbly, Joe
