Check out this article that hopes you don't make it into this hashtag going around on Twitter! According to Marketing Profs, the #BadStockPhotosOfMyJob hashtag shows stock images that don't accurately represent what the professional actually does. The hashtag was started by scientists that weren't impressed with how they were being portrayed online. The author goes on to share a few tips on how to use job specific images that realistically portray professions more accurately. To summarize:
  1. Do your research
  2. Don't take the easy way out
  3. Check the equipment
  4. Match facial expressions to the profession
  5. Pay attention to the outfits
So how about it...do you have any bad stock photos you'd like to share?
